I am Virgo but not a control freak at all...?

Please, what kind of planetary position or Ascendant that change my behavior?

The Virgos I know are focused on "control" in the sense that they hate unpredictability and so they attempt to gain some sense of control over situations through excessive planning, preparation and strict routines. This way they feel they know what will happen from one moment to the next and this gives them a feeling of mastery.

Theoretically speaking, the presence of other more laid back signs in the chart, such as Aquarius (Aquarians love unpredictability) and Sagittarius may mitigate the Virgo liking for control. However, in practice, I've never come across a Virgo (and I've known several with all sorts of other influences in their chart) who didn't feel the need to control some aspect of their life.

This control has come in many subtle forms, including -

-the need to maintain order and neatness in their surroundings and in their life generally by avoiding mistakes
-the need to ensure that the people around them do things the "right" way (ie the Virgo way)
-the need to be prepared for all eventualities
-the need to think carefully and consider every possible consequence of an action before making any significant decision
-the need to plan, schedule, compile to-do lists, maintain a daily routine so that day-to-day life remains under the Virgo's control
