I am interested in seeing a psychic and i wanted input on what to expect.?

I am not asking for opinions on if psychics are fake or whatever, If you havent ever been to a psychic then dont bother answering...I just want to know kind of what happens.

I went to one when I was 20+. I walked into her home and she escorted me to her kitchen table where we sat and talked. She explained that she was a psychic and she believed in Jesus, too. I said okay, and she asked to see the palms of my hands. I held them out to her and she studied the lines on my hands very carefully. The left hand, she explained, represented my past and the rt hand was my future. She said that I had a twin. Yes, I do. She said I would meet a man, and he would move away, but we would end up together one day. That did not happen. She said several things that could apply to many different situations, so probably anyone would think she knew them well by what she said. She asked me if there was something specific I needed to know, and by that I figured if she was a real psychic she'd know what I was there for, so I politely told her she said everything, and paid her her fee and left. I went on a whim, because I had never been. I think if there was something really important that I wanted to knwo for sure I may have put more interest in what she said... but I walked away feeling like she was a nice lady, but she wasn't so great a psychic. I would like to say be careful. We all know what we hope to hear... long to know, or get permission to do- I have grown to believe that the person who knows us best isn't someone we can pay to tell us what we know we need to do or believe, but we know ourselves best. Trust in your inner voice, and sometimes that may mean getting away from the stress and rush of the day and relax and be quiet. Usually it is our own voice which is the weakest... and everything else over powers or drowns us out. Believe in yourself, friend. You don't need to pay someone else to tell you who you are or what you need to do. You already know. Hugs and more hugs-
