What does a fixed, cardinal and mutable sign mean?!

Question:

What does a fixed, cardinal and mutable sign mean?

i just wondered what they meant and how can we classify the signs, looking at what?

Answers:

Cardinal signs are the signs that start on the change of the season - Aries in Spring, Cancer in Summer, Libra in Autumn, and Capricorn in fall. These signs are all about initiative, creativity and enterprise. For Aries, this manifests throughout most of the sign, Cancer with it's emotional and maternal instincts, Libra in socialism, and Capricorn in a more material and business-type aspect.

Fixed signs are by nature, inert, steadfast and represent stamina, inflexibility, determined and reliable. They represent the height of the seasons: Leo in Summer, Taurus in Spring, Aquarius in Winter and Scorpio in Autumn. within Leos tend to 'burn brighter' than the other fire signs, they dont show the impulsiveness or wanderlust that Sag and Aries do. Scorpios tend to be emotionally obsessive, Tauruses tend to be headstrong, patient, and stable, and Aquarians, while free thinkers, tend not to be flexible within whatever eccentric stuff they come up with.

Mutable signs are associated with versatility. They tend to come at the time of change within seasons. For instance, Geminis are noted for not only having eccelent communicative skills, but also show the famous duality they are well known for. Virgos show precision, nagging and an attention to detail in health, Sagittarius shows wanderlust, travel and learning on a spiritual level. Pisces are known to fluctuate within imaginitive and emotional levels from one extreme to another.

There are many ways to classify signs, by these three qualities, by element, as well:
Fire: Aries, Leo, Sagittarius
Air: Gemni, Libra, Aquarius
Water: Cancer, Pisces, Scorpio
Earth: Capricorn, Taurus, Virgo

There are also Yin and Yang signs. (inactive and active). Yin signs are all earth and water, yang signs are all fire and air.

The first four signs are also associated with self, call personal signs, and the next four tend to associate with society. The last four are called universal signs, because they go beyond society and focus on imagination, spirituality and the like.
