All good answers... but he's not JUST a Sagittarius, he is also year of the Rooster. THIS Sagittarius male will have a solid moral compass... solid and immovable. His moral compass will not necessarily be the same compass as the rest of the crowd, and that may get him in some trouble. These men are stand-up guys, real gentlemen. But, when they fall (and all of them eventually do something their moms would NOT be proud of) then they fall hard, and have a hard time ever forgiving themselves. Sagittarius Rosoter would rather work out some justifications for why what he did was reasonable or ok, than face up to it and be totally accountable for it. They are honest and forthright, but not when it comes to being vulnerable... they'd rather not show all their cards, and put on a good face, than go through the process of painful self-examination. Parents of this youth should remember to cultivate a sense of self that is secure, that knows everyone is fallible, even mighty Sag/Rooster; everyone makes mistakes, and that's how we learn and grow and become stronger, better people.

They have a constant inner dialogue, working out the best path, the best course of action to stay on the right track to what they want. These guys have a bit a of brooding quality, as tho there is a storm of emotion brewing just beneath the surface. But they keep a really tight lid on it, for the most part, the most firey outbursts happening during adolescence and early adulthood when hormones may get the best of him. Mom will do best by him to constantly model healthy emotional expression; encourage him to get crazy and blow off steam. Help him find outlets for all that stormy fire under the hood... if he consistently turns it inward, or outward in the negative, he'll be a good candidate for over-eating, aggrssion, addictions, even criminal mischief.

They are often shy and observant at first, especially in new scenarios, but once they warm up, they can be the life of the party, with some witty banter and thought-provoking subject material.

Never boring. A little old-fashioned when they get more mature, leaning toward more traditional pathways... good family guys.
