I started to get to know the real him it scared me. I started crying all the time. My friend told him I had a crush on him in the past she was worried about my marriage . He acted like she was joking he never came out & asked me. The crush had ended when he started paying attention to me & I thought became my friend. He plays games & is caring at times towards me I'm confused. I stopped visiting & emailing him a month ago. He sees me & smiles but leaves me alone. Was he giving me some space? This morning I get an joke email from him like what I have sent him in the past. My friend said he sent it to me to see if I would react & in a round about way so that I wouldn't forget he existed he loves the attention. He sent it to to 3 of his male best friends & they know I've sent him stuff in the past. Hes always sent the emails to my friend & games got played but he didn't this one. He's never behaved this nice to me much since I've known him. Should I pursuit the friendship?

I am not "playing games" anymore with him. He's been behaving. I need to lay groundwork that he needs to follow to be my friend. If he doesn't like it too bad. Flirting is alright as long as it stays just flirting. Plus he's tended to be very selfish in the past and I am not running back to that crap. I know I deserve more respect from him and maybe I am here to teach him that. His marriage has problems maybe he treats the wife like that. I am willing to meet him halfway but will have to play by my rules.
