Air signs people: What don't you like about us Scorpios?

I'm a Scorpio, and with a Leo ascendant no less, so I guess I'm what you'd call self-obsessed. And being that way I have noticed , that Libras, Geminis and (most of all) Aquarius, do not like me. I'm not talking about romantic relationships with these people, cause that's a different deal. Just social acquantainces. People from these signs seem very uneasy around me. I make them feel uncomfortable I think. Especially the women. They give me these looks like I'm speaking a different language or something.I don't get why. I get along with earth, fire and water signs just fine. And why do I bother? Well I wouldn't but it's just that I have to work with so many of them. All my work collegues and bosses so far have been of these signs. It must be some bad karma. So this question goes to the air signs outhere...If you don't like Scorpios, what is it about them that you find so appaling?

@Daniel C. I've studied astrology, I didn't just wake up one day and decided to trust astrology for the sake of it. As a matter of fact, I didn't believe in it until I read my first book on astrology. And then I realised that it made a lot of sense. And the more I read the more convinced I am. Now for you to come on and just dismiss it altogether without knowing anything about it. Well it's a little ignorant of you. So whatever...

Hi! I'm a Libra. Most Scorpios I know, I do like. Not a problem with them. But there was one Scorpio who I didn't like. Why? Because she stung me! I've read that Scorpios, in general, are very emotional and dark and can feel threatened at the drop of a hat. That was the case with this girl. She was in a dysfunctional marriage (with a Taurus, I believe?), and I was dating her friend (an Aquarius). She always liked to tell me how I didn't know anything about men, because I had never been married to one. And I wouldn't always sympathize with her. Like most Libras, when her and her husband or my boyfriend at the time would start fighting, I would be able to see both sides of the story and try to come up with a compromise. She didn't like that and interpretted it as me turning against her. So she kept telling my boyfriend that he deserved better than me and should try dating other girls. She'd throw these other girls at him. Eventually, due to her incessant pushing, he did break up with me. After that, she would come to me and tell me what a horrible person he was for doing so and that I was the greatest girl she ever found for him. Yeah, she was prickly. I'm no longer friends with her. But yeah, I'm afraid of the scorpion sting. Most of my Scorpio friends haven't stung me, but I think that logic (of air signs) versus the emotion (of water signs) is what causes some air signs not to like Scorpio. Frankly, Cancers tick me off more.
