How should I handle this Scorpio's mood?

I know scorpio men can be moody at times, but do they get into moments where they retreat into their own world? he's been a bit down for the past week and everyone who knows him, realizes that he's different. he says he's just going through his own thing and that it has nothing to do with me. i've always respected his privacy and need for secrets. it's never anything bad and he's actually quite open and honest with me. it's just when he has a lot of personal crap going on, he hides and doesn't want to talk about it. i understand that he requires his space, but it makes me feel sad, worried and neglected. he told me that it's nothing i can help him with. i tried calling today to shoot the breeze, but he sort of lashed out, wasn't very nice, said he needed to think and that he's like on another planet right now and apologized for being this way. i was hurt, but he really didn't want to talk. he's gotten this way twice before in our year together, but not this serious. help!!

Don't push him!!! He will come around in due time. If you push too much you might cause an explosion. Trust me you don't wanna go there. He is very unhappy with hisself right now and he has to work through it on his own. Secrecy is very common among scorpio's. DO NOT TRY TO GET HIM TO REVEAL HIS SECRETS, IT SIMPLY WON'T WORK!!! Just try to give him his space and, he will respect you for it! As for him saying he was sorry for lashing out at you that is a good sign! That means he does care about your feelings.
