Pisces Male Aries Female - a strange match - what are the chances ?

I am a typical Pisces male whose getting fairly deeply involved with an Aries female - I'm very piscean underneath but both my rising and moon signs are fire signs as her rising sign is as well - two very different people on the surface but we seem to get on very well and it certainly 'feels right'. I sense that it's a case of opposites complementing each other well. The consensus of opinion on the internet regarding the long term prospects between such a pairing though seems to be split between 'not a chance' and 'a good balance if worked at'. Can anybody help with any advice or sensible opinions ?
