The least ambitious?!

The least ambitious?

why is it that i am the least ambitous person that i know or even alive? is that sooooo wrong

Well, I guess it depends on what your definition of "ambitious" is. Some people use their ambition ruthlessly and very callously to get what they want, no matter who gets hurt in the process, while others who might be considered ambitious use their drive to inspire and enlighten.

A quote I like, which surprisingly comes from Napoleon Bonaparte (and as ruthless as we know him to be historically, I have to wonder how well he took his own advice) is: "Great ambition is the passion of a great character. Those endowed with it may perform very good or very bad acts. All depends on the principals which direct them."

I also wonder, depending on your definition of "ambitious," if you see yourself as not being the ambitious type simply because you have no desire to be a leader, to make a name for yourself, etc. There is nothing wrong with that; quite frankly, we wouldn't have any leaders if there weren't any followers, nor would G-d or a higher entity be recognized in our culture if we weren't all followers in some way. I would just say that as long as being what you are does not make you stagnant, meaning you are at least expanding yourself mentally and spiritually, that you can choose the path of the follower or supporter without feeling guilty.
