What are Your Parent's Signs, and How were you Punished/Disciplined as a Kid?

I'm not saying there's any correlation, I'm just asking this on a whim.

Mom: Aries (she liked to rant and scream - typical aries, huh? She also "grounded" me a lot, but always forgot about it 2 days later)

Dad: Scorpio (silent treatment. If I tried to talk to him while he was mad at me, he'd just glare at me and walk away. Made me write an essay once for swearing at him).

Step-Mom is an aries... she was quite physical. She screamed, she hit, she was abusive.

Dad is a Libra... he would spank, also used a paddle.
