If a new friend wrote you in email and told you thank you for telling them about something that helped and also told them thanks for being a good friend... and even though you didn't ask them any questions.. would you write back to them??

READ: ok this is what i mean.. I write them a letter telling them about what happened over my weekend and tell them all about something that I did that they suggestes and they write me back and tell me more about it. Then.. I write them back WITHOUT asking them any other questions, but tell them thanks for the advice and being a good friend. Now since I didnt ask any questions but just said thanks... would you write back?

Hi, You say this is a new friend and it sounds as if you've both already got a lot out of your relationship. Thank yous have been said so if you write back to them, why not just make it newsy and bright and work at developing your relationship further. Polly
