Which of the zodiac signs came first in history?!

Question:

Which of the zodiac signs came first in history?

I thought about it yesterday. The astrological signs exist, because they identify different kinds of individuals quite accurately. If we start from that point, the signs must have appeared at some time during history of mankind, with the individuals they represent.

<But>... the signs could not have appeared all at once, because recent history tells that many themes attached to the signs, like romantism for capricorns, ARE NOT age old!

Admit it, Romantism comes from Romans. Hence the name. Who wrote theatre and novels before romans? Nobody. And who worshipped Venus before Romans? Ok, almost nobody. The Greek did it with in tragedies. But Homer's Iliad bears nothing from romantism. It's rather war, chivalry, motivation, humor, narrow mindedness... you guessed it: sagitarius themes. So sagitarius would have come just before the capricorn, perhaps as the Dorians and their messiah, Dorus.
