Order of Elements in Astrology = Similar "Intensity" of personality?!
Question:
Order of Elements in Astrology = Similar "Intensity" of personality?
I know the header question doesn't make much sense, so let me try to clarify:
I've heard that since Aries is at the beginning of the zodiac-the "youngest" sign-some stereotypical qualities of youth (impulsive, bragadocious, self-interested, etc) are often trademarks of Aries. Conversley, I've often Piscean folks described as "old souls" or "deep waters".
Any validity to the idea that Sagitarrians would embody more of a "deep, intense heat" (think molten lava, or molten iron) than fire-sign buddy Aries?
By the same logic, is Aquarious most likely of the air signs to be really, really "in the clouds" (or a "visionary")?
Do "elementally level-matched" people tend to have the same intensity of personality? Does the astrological "birth order" in an elemental grouping make it more (or less likely people will be compatible?
Level 1 = Aries Gemini Taurus Cancer
Level 2 = Leo Libra Virgo Scorp
Level 3 = Sag Aquarius Cap Piesces
Answers:
The elementally level-matched people don't appear to have similar intensity of personality. Intensity of personality appears to better defined by the "qualities" of the signs (Cardinal, Fixed, Mutable).
But I think the Levels do seem to have something to do with where energies are focused - and relates to the houses: The first group are more concerned with personal things. The second - about social things. The 3rd - about universal things.
In that sense there might be more compatibility as far as energy of purpose between say, a leo and a libra, than between a leo and a gemini. But it probably doesn't make much difference given that the trines of each sign are not in the same level but are in the other 2 levels, and the squares of the signs are in the same level and in 1 other level. Not much rhyme or reason there.
Regardless, there is much truth in what you propose. I'm going to look at that last part more. Very interesting. Thanks.
