Im a Scorpio woman.. why do we have such a bad rap?
Since i was a little girl, my mother was always into astrology. her friends would ask 'what are your childrens signs?' and she would say "my sons a Gemini" and they would 'ooh and ahh' over how lucky she was, and when she said, "and my daughter is a Scorpio" they would all make a face like "uh oh"
Now that im older, i get a lot of smirks and faces as well. Whats up with that!

Scorpio's are one of the most mysterious and alluring signs of them all. We, however, are also the best kind to have ever put on a front. People view Scorpio women as being strong, agressive, lusty, power driven devils - and nothing more. Obviously, darling, a man's perspective. ;) Since most aren't Scorpio's themselves that are doing the judging, they don't know what goes on behind the surface. People are getting better at accepting us as a good sign, though.
