Well while I do not rely on astrology for my life, I will answer as another Scorpio female.
1st marriage was to a Capricorn (stubborn and never wrong) didn't work.
2nd and present and most wonderful years of my life spent with my Cancer man. Maybe because we're both water signs, don't know don't care. Cancers are "nesters" and very family oriented and I love that.
