In general, sagittarius and virgo enegry goes very well together (personal experience, half my chart is in sagittarius and I've grown a liking to virgo's lately and it seems to be the only thing that works for me - apart from another sagittarius.) but as I'll keep on repeating, *it all depends* ... on the two people involved, their personal birth charts, and the compatibility of the two charts. That is different for every virgo and every sagittarian out there.
