Can Tarot Cards tell your fortunes? Did you ever try them?

Not only did I try them, but I was raised doing them and still do. Let's clear up a few misconceptions. Firstly I know we've all seen movies etc where the old gypsy lays out the cards and talks about future husbands, children and money and has dire predictions of death etc. I'm not saying that tarot readings won't answer those questions but this isn't their primary use. Tarot cards are a tool to connect with Spirit in order to give the person asking the questions help and guidance to send their own life in the right direction. It is used to forwarn you of possible coming events that you might need to deal with and to help deal with them. We get all the usual questions and a good tarot reader will phrase the answer in a tactful and helpful way. For example "will I win money" . This is a dreadful question because if the cards show a yes some people run out and start gambling away like mad fools and spend more money than they win! The same with the "will i find a husband" style of question. If the cards say yes, well I've known people to either spend large amounts of time running around looking for every possible man who might fit the description or suddenly just sit at home and wait. So readers like me have a huge responsibility with anyone who comes to us. Again, they are a tool to help you make a better life for yourself, not greedily gain everything you want and learn nothing. In saying that, tarot readers and such people are just like anyone else - we have our good ones and our bad ones so anyone seeking guidance needs to choose wisely. To the person who said they are just a piece of paper, well anyone can see that yes? But like I said they are a tool to make a connection, not a 'fortune telling' game.
