Tarot position confusion?!

Question:

Tarot position confusion?

I have wondered this for so long

In a spread, lets say, the relationship spread, there is a position that indicates "what your partner needs"

and you draw the queen of cups reversed for this position which means "a disloyal and unstable woman. When the Queen is reversed, she indicates a vain, fickle, deceitful woman who should be avoided. These negative aspects are not necessarily immediately obvious, and this card warns of a need to tread carefully, as she will make a troublesome enemy."

thats not really what your partner needs, he doesnt need a dishonest and disloyal woman.... Im confused.

some people say look at what the card is telling me but its reversed so it cant be good.

anyone else run into this?

Answers:

I'm totally a novice with tarot having only done the 4 card spreads thus far... but my guess is that he needs a woman that will teach him about his "shadow" side... Maybe he's either seriously naive and could get very hurt by one of these types, or maybe that is just his "fate" and it's something his soul will need to submit to in order to evolve.

You've come along a rather forboding response, maybe you should try a few other spreads to see how your q is then interpreted.
