What does this astrological chart of mine mean?

This is an interesting chart. We have a mixture of practical, serious, Earth signs like Sun/Mercury in Taurus and three planets in Capricorn. Then we have a number of planets in emotional water signs.

Parents seems close, and this baby was planned. Dad looks to have fixed views and to enjoy being treated to the nice things in life. Mum looks more dominant and headstrong, and was more of a disciplinarian , which has caused friction with this person.

I think that this person is likely to be or has been successful in higher education, with Sun ruler Venus in the ninth house. This also suggests a strong but not overpowering religious or philosophical outlook, and someone who will enjoy and get benefits from foreign travel.

They project strongly into the outside world, and are very conscious of the ways others view them, and their public persona.

Sometimes they speak or communicate very bluntly, and this can cause problems, especially with their love life. They play games to win, and could be something of an intense game-player or gambler. In long-term relationships they are attracted to older or mature people, and may marry later in life than the norm.

The Cancer ascendant suggests someone who says the opposite of what they feel, so they may be something of an enigma to those who take them at face value.

They went through a VERY rebellious phase in their teens, and there was some completely over-the-top behaviour and probable substance abuse then which caused problems and tensions.

Basically though this is a popular, caring type, quite set in their ways, with some deeper feelings and intensity, who projects positively into the outside world. They sometimes let their emotionality take over, but then realism and practicality return them to an even keel.
