"Bad Match" signs getting along SO well! Is *this* why?

So I have been w/ my bf for about a year, and we are doing really great. It's surprising, because my Sun Sign is Sagittarius and he is a Cancer! But, my moon sign is Cancer, and his is Sagittarius! Does this explain our ability to "get" each other? We always seem to be able to give what the other needs and haven't had an argument yet (knock on wood). ;)

And to the answer about it being the honeymoon period...well, maybe, but a whole year is a bit more significant than just a month or two - and if you can't apply astrology matches within the first year of a relationship, when CAN you apply them?? (that's a rhetorical question ;) ). I don't take this stuff that seriously as to base my relationship on it, it's just a curiosity of mine since our signs are opposite in the way that they are. :)

For a start, I don't consider any Sun sign combinations a "bad match".

But yes, the Sun-Moon conjunction is a classic sign of compatibility in synastry; the fact it goes both ways sounds absolutely fantastic.
