How to understand a virgo man?

I started seeing a virgo man. we went out on a few dates and everything went really well. He acted really interested and sweet. He got out of a 4yr relationship 6mths ago. His ex is the one that ended it. I know that he was hurt but he said that he was over her. The other day he found out that she slept with one of his co workers and now he is m.i.a
My sister works with him and he was visibly distraught.
He told her to tell me that if I dont hear from him it is because
of what he found out and not because of me. He felt really stupid cuz everyone at his job knew that his ex slept with his
co worker except him and when she slept with this guy she was telling him that she wanted to get back together with him
He told my sister that he wanted to be alone and not talk to
anyone for a bit. Do virgo men hold grudges for along time?
Is this a typical virgo trait to disappear when they are hurt?
Any advice? I didnt call him because he said that he needed
to be alone. I am a little confused.

uuuuhmm..I've had about 3 Virgo bfs so far ( not that I was looking for them..they just came along)..of course never in such a peculiar situation like yours. They tend to be a little overwhelming, they usually want to be with the partner like 24/7 and that is prolly one of the reason she dumped him the same way I dumped those 3 of mine. Too much energy to carry out with. As far as I know they get really self-absorb after a break up. it will be good isea that you think about leave this guy alone for a while and let him go through the healing process. Those Virgos are really proud characters.and most of the time think they have control of every situation, and when find out is not..their characteristical ego is terribly hurt to the point they prefer to mourn alone rather than see people taking pity on them. My advise: Dont push him..leave him some space and let him know that you are a person that cares for him ( if that's the case)
