Any Aries out there? Is it true Aries like to argue?
There is this guy I like who told me he just like to argue with me. Many times I have managed to stay away from it but he keeps on pushing me,searching for ways to make me go mad. But then, when I finally do, he become upset because I am mad (what???) I find this to be very frustrating because I associate argument with disharmony, thus unhappiness. Later on someone told me, that is his nature as an Aries. Is this true? Any Aries out there? If so, how should I go about with this? I hate arguing, I really do........... :( Additional Details

We get on fabulously. But then, every two weeks or something he will provoke me with something he KNEW i am sensitive about, just to get a reaction.Is he bored or what? Why cant he just let things be smooth between us...such a drama king..

Why cant he just let things be smooth between us...such a drama king.. Don't look at it as "arguing" but as debating. With arguing tempers flare up and people get mad and say things they regret but debating is a calm serious way to discuss opposing views. That is what aries likes to do. And if the other person turns it into an argument then the aries need for superiority comes in and he argue till the death. Debates don't necessarily have a winner but when an argument ensues then there must be a winner and aries will want to be taht winner. So my advice when talking about a subject is not raising your voice and just simply debate him and then when you are finished just walk away. Say to him you make some valid points but so do I and end it there by saying we will have to agree to disagree.....but do not say you have won or you are better or something of the like, then aries will turn it into a conquest to be won.
Also aries are known to be instigators, when bored they will stir up some kind of trouble, usually harmless teasing or razzing. But some do go to far and often cross the line and they need to learn to curb this tendency. Aries people secretly like to be liked. While other sign may care less if you like them or not; it will bother the aries if they not liked among their peers, So if they keep up their raunchy behavior which they think is amusing then tell them you don't like them anymore and stay away from them or act coldly.....they will change their ways...... at least towards you......and find someone else to vamp up for kicks. Zodiac guy, I agree - debate is a much better word. I have an Aries mother..they like to be first and foremost and the centre of attention when they are wrong they take this out on eveyone.. be yourself and do not give in.... let them be who they are with ..let go...and they will decide for themsleves..eventually...accep... thechallenge to be without them....what will be will be Well I'm an Aries and will only argue if I need to make a point, which then becomes a matter of opinion not an argument. I am strongly opinionated I admit, but I hate confrontation (which is usually the reason arguments happen).
So.....I guess I'm an Aries that doesn't like to argue. Not look at it this way...He's not bored or sth.. It's just that he sees arguing as fun (fire sign, huh?).. I have a brother that's an Aries, and he does this too. He doesn't really want to argue, but he does want to debate, it's in his nature.......find something that you're not so sensitive about to debate, pick the subjects for him, you'll both be happier..... I dated an Aries man for about 3 years. He didn't like to argue but he always thought he was right, so that caused arguements since I'm a SCORPIO. It also depends on what sign you are. Maybe you have two different views on healthy disagreements. Haha! I am an Aries and I LOVE to "argue". The thing is, what i consider arguing is considered fighting by others, and what I consider having an objective dialogue is seen as arguing by others. We (meaning people like me) don't really mean any harm by it. It is part of our mental game to stay on our toes. Hell i even go to the car dealership sometimes and haggle over price, with no intention of closing the deal, just to stay sharp. Its kind of like exercise for the brain. I apologize on behalf of your boyfriend, but try to understand that it is not meant to harm you. also understand that when we get in these moods, usually stemming from lack of intense mental stimulation, no matter what you say, we will take the opposite position. Its just a fun way to test our skills.
