Are Cancers all overly sensitive home-bodies who are too soft?
As a male Cancer, this is really eating at me. I'm straight and have had girlfriends, but I do tend to not seem as manly as I should be. Writing poetry and maintaining a flower garden on my back porch is not what the average single man in his mid 20s does. I am an aggressive flirter but tend to be a little too over romantic. Only because of the need to find a woman and peer-pressure do I go to the college parties every weekend. If I had it my way, I would rather have a girlfriend and just chill at home with her instead of looking for hookups. Is this a normal thing for a Cancer?
Answers: YES!! there is absolutely nothing wrong with you or the cancers. It isnt to say that you are any more feminine than the next guy because you perfer a deeper relationship than a sexual one. Also there is nothing wrong with a flower garden or poetry! in honesty that is one of the biggest Pros a guy can score with a girl. Even though yes we women are attracted to machos we still have a moments when we just want a sensitive cuddle-in-bed kind of moment. That goes for pretty much all women no matter what he sign is. So if you dont want to be out and about every weekend or you just perfer to pick up your journal and write when your "friends" want to play video games and stuff their faces then that is perfectly fine! I mean think about it, if they were really your friends dont you think they would be more accepting of your and your choice of living? Mainly, going by just the sun sign, yes it' tends to be true, but they are nice ppl that care for others and are nurturing.

However all Cancers have those tendencies which can only be balanced and overcome by other influences and aspects of their life and/or their chart. Instead of going to parties you would rather not attend every weekend, maybe you should go every other weekend or once a month and spend the rest of the time being constructive about searching out the relationships and lifestyle you really want for yourself. bookstores, music stores, coffee houses etc are better "hunting grounds" for you. Personally, I like the whole writing, flower thing, I don't think its gay, there are ways to do things that seem gay but not come off as such.
