Answers: Virgo's are just difficult beings. I am Virgo and I swear some of thoughts that pass through my brain during a normal day, I want to just beat myself up about, and the fact that I hold feelings in all the time, drives me even more wacky.
I am not a perfectionist either, except when it comes to business or work, and even then, I can be lacking.
I think the main reason why a Virgo's love life can be lacking is because most times we can be very shy, and withdrawn, and difficult to piece together in the other's eyes. For me, it takes ALOT of patience for anybody to get to know me, not to mention a potential mate! Right now, I am in a long term relationship (with a Taurus by the way - definetly a great sign to mingle with if you ever get the chance), but before my current boyfriend, I was single for almost 3 years, and in that time, had a few flings with Scorpios (stay away from Scorpios - they will break a Virgo's heart). I think some Virgos have a fear of rejection that sometimes ruins something that could last, and in my case, jealousy issues, that don't need to be there.
A Virgo/virgo relationship can be a very successful relationship, as long as your Virgo qualties do not clash with each other too much, and if they don't, the relationship is like a speeding bullet, full force ahead.
Anyways, don't be too down on the Virgo sign - sure, we can be shy, withdrawn, hold in our feelings, slightly perfectionist, but we also are (from what I have heard from friends) the best listeners out there, a good shoulder to cry on, a ball of fun when the time is right, and one of the most loyal and caring signs out there.

It depends on how promiscuously they both are. Virgos tend to flirt with out shame & if both do not mind it from each other then it is a good match I'm a Virgo and found it a challenge to maintain long-lasting love relationships. I think we are largely misunderstood. Oh well, true love will come along one day... don't know i think the reason people make virgos seem difficult is because virgos are shy, they have hard time expressing their true feelings for the person they love that is why people put them off as being proud and misunderstand their feelings.
