Will there be any dosham on beating a Cobra snake? if yes, what measures need to be taken to clear the dosham.
Hi,
Last year i threw a stone at a black cobra snake out of ignorance. Luckly the snake ran away unhurt. Since than, i lost my job and had faced health problems. I had consulted astrologer and he says i have full naga dosham. I had taken all measures to clear naga dosham as per astrologer's suggestions.
Please help me, if any of you have come across similar situations or have knowledge as to what needs to be done.

Answers: Yes I was told that the reason for all my problems and our family problems is because of snake dosham. Our ancestors have killed a snake something like that. Much as I do not want to believe I just feel relieved that everything is not my mistake there are some uncontrollable elements in this world for which we may not be responsible. Actually this is one of coping technique. But I just cannot relate snake killing to all these problems. Do not believe blindly in all this. This creates tension and our mind gets cluttered and loses strength to face situations. A weak mind may also cause some bad effects which we try to link to these doshams. Try to analyze why you lost the job and had to face all health problems. These are not related to killing the snake after all. Get that guilt out of your mind and focus on regaining every bit of the things you feel you have lost. Work towards it. Pray to God that’s good for mental peace but do not become a fanatic and lose peace of mind and become sick etc etc. Believe in yourself. Say and feel sorry in your mind for hurting an animal or human for no reason because that’s not right. But God is the kindest being in the whole wide Universe. He will never trouble us for all these. i think you should stop believing in such things and have confidence in your self because such beliefs are never ending

every body passes through a bad phase and it has nothing to do with your hurling a stone at a snake without even hitting it.
of course if the snake was not threatening you you should not try to harm it! You seem to be having a mindset that your attempt to hurt the snake caused you to lose your job. The reasons could be something else, you are only trying to connect the two.
I would suggest you to focus on the positives in life. as you did not hurt thesnake ,how can u suffer from bad karma,,did u tell the astrologer about the incedent about the snake befour he proclaimed that you were suffring from naga dosham,,pls there is a fine line between being religious and superstitious . there is no such thing as dosham or any thing like astrology.do not let people with thees ideas up set you. i have killed and eaten animals of all kind including snakes nothing has happened to me. if you lost the job there might be some reason which only you know the best. and your health can be taken care of by the doctor and he WILL tell you the reason for your illness..get well find a job and avoid people who will up set you with rubbish talk of dosham and astrology. Don't be superstitious!
There is no dosham at all on hurting a cobra, but of course what is the necessary to hurt a life unless it is not harming you? So you have "commit ed" a sin by hurting a snake however there is no any astrological dosham at alllll!
