I've been doing tarot card readings for friends and family for about 7 years now, and so far, it seems to be very accurate. But that's just been my experience with it. I've also come to realize that if someone completely does NOT believe in it, it will NOT work for them. My best advice, try a reading and see.
One particular reading I remember doing was for my neice, she had just found out her husband had been cheating on her and came to me for a reading.
During the reading I remember telling her that she was going to run into a red-headed woman and that this woman was going to give her problems, and her best course of action was to play it cool, if she did, she would come out on the better end of the deal.
Two weeks later, she came back to me and said she finally saw the girl that her husband dumper her for, she had red hair and got really angry when LeAnn (my neice) came by to get her stuff. The girl tried to pick a fight, but LeAnn didn't fall for it and left. She later found out the cops had come by after she left and gave the girl a warning for disturbing the peace.
Another time I remember, is I did a reading for my sister and the cards said she would soon lose her job, and it would occur after a time off from work. Well, about 2 weeks later she took a couple days off from work and went camping with friends. About a week or so after she went back to work, she was laid off from her job.
Tarot works, it really does, but there are some it won't work for. If someone doesn't believe in it and you do a reading on them, the reading will be confusing, at best.
And sometimes the cards won't answer the question you ask, instead they will tell you about something more important going on in your life at that moment.
If you do decide to get a reading, make sure it's from someone who knows what they're doing and not just someone trying to get their hands on your money.
Oh and there's not really anything "psychic" about it, you just have to know how to read the cards. For me, it's more instincts than "psychic." Because I certainly don't consider myself to be "psychic", I've just studied the Tarot for a long time, I find it to be fascinating. But that's just me. It's not really for everybody.

Anyone who claims to be psychic is either confused or just lying.
Try this. Make an appointment with a reader via the phone.
You will be surprised by the amount of things they know about you when you show up.
Make an appointment a few months later via the phone and give them a false name. Now you will get a completly different reading.
The only amazing thing going on here is the amount of personal infomation you can find out about people with little information.
It all depends on the person giving the reading
come on they're cards! it's silly .... get advice from the smartest person you know...or even better someone who loves you unconditionally... your mother
I do now. I had one done online, which can be very skeptical, but it was amazing. The lady saw everything going on in my life right now without knowing me in any way.
try it, it's worth it just to see how you feel about it.
i am not sure if i believe but when i was about seven years old my mother and sister went to a psychic i went also and they got their readings .i wanted my fortune read and the lady said NO ,children shouldn't do this . eventually we convinced her (with money) and she told me that i would find love twice have no kids and make alot of money ,but not for me for others . so far in my life i have found (serious) love twice i have no children and i made alot of money for others i am now 29 years old and wonder if she was right .that's my story its true and have never really thought about it till i broke up with my ex. I'm still not convinced that i believe in this stuff. is it a coincident or was she right .?????
I don't. I respect all those who believe in it though. :)
I do not belive in tarot cards, I belive in natal reports. Tarot cards, I think only for entereinment but some people really know a lot about them and then they can explain them very good.
