I hesitate to answer this question... for fear of being misunderstood. But with your permission, I will try nevertheless.

First of all, I agree with you that Scorpio is the most powerful sign of all. And Leo. And Sagittarius. And Gemini. And the rest of the other signs in each turn. Because the question is, strong how? In which respect? From what point of view? A Scorpio is amazingly strong, he has the whole plethora of weapons and torture means of Hades at his disposal, but stab a Scorpio in the heart and rob away his dreams and he will spend many moons suffering in a personal hell before he will be reborn. Also, a Leo is impressive in power, but hurt him in his pride and take away his confidence and he will equally be damaged. I will limit myself to these two examples, because you happened to mention them in the question, but this rule extends itself to all signs. Every sign has its strengths and weaknesses, and its methods to cope with pain and succeed. Why? For two reasons.

The first reason is that life is NOT an arrow that goes up for ANY sign. It is instead a bumpy ride that goes up hills and down slopes and requires a lot of skill and tact to keep on the right track. No sign is spared of the occasional falls. No one, no matter how strong they are. But their strengths, different in nature, will help them survive in different ways.

Now tell me, why do you believe in Astrology? Is one of the reasons this: because it works? And why does it work, if not because the Universe is designed in such a way, that there is a greater Order for all things? That is the second reason: Order. Equilibrium. Balance. The ancient Greeks used the following word to describe the universe - "cosmos". This word means literally 'harmony', and there is no better term to describe nature than this one. We have day and we have night, we have love and we have hate, we have black and we have white and I could go on like this forever. Just like Yin and Yang in Eastern philosophy, things in nature are complementary. I am not saying this from a strictly dualist point of view, because I believe in non-duality and sometimes a healthy imbalance is better than a perfect balance. But my point is, astrological signs do not escape this rule. They are complementary. Not equivalent! But complementary. If they weren't complementary, then they would destroy each other and we'd no longer speak of all of them, which couldn't be farther from the truth. No sign is 'best', every sign has strengths and weaknesses, and all these strengths and weaknesses are unique and different from all the other signs.

You asked us to "say something from the heart". Therefore, I would like to tell you something from the bottom of my heart... In life, there are two paths. One of them is to struggle and continually fight for power, domination, money, pride, all things material and vain... The other one is to continually seek to achieve Enlightenment. And the only way for ANY sign to achieve Enlightenment is by learning from ALL the other signs, so that he can overcome his weaknesses and discover new and unknown strengths. Every sign has something to teach, and learning is always a winning battle if each person is treated with respect for their unique qualities and tolerance for their unique flaws. It is only up to you which path to choose... but since you are a Scorpio, and I have faith in your ability to see beyond the surface of things, something inside me tells me that you will not choose the superficial path.

seem to be strong willed and live on their strength of power.
most Gemmi I have known seem self centered. I really don't think there is a "best" sign neg. and pos. in all signs as they are all human beings.

Okay...my opinion is that there is none. Typically speaking, Scorpios and Leos are known for being the most powerful and the strongest, respectively. However, each sign has its drawbacks. Scorpio likes to control things, but Aries isn't so sensitive and doesn't need so much reassurance, and is just as dominant, and likely to take charge of a situation. Taurus is more solid and reliable than Aries. Gemini is a far better thinker and communicator than Taurus. Sagittarius thinks more deeply and logically than Gemini.

What's with this constant power struggle, dude? Are you feeling threatened by someone of another sign, or something? This may be my Sagittarian wisdom speaking, but if you knew--beyond a shadow of a doubt--that your sign was the most powerful of them all, you wouldn't need so much reassurance from others. And you surely wouldn't feel the need to try and convince us. But hey--what do I know? My boyfriend's a Leo w/Scorpio moon, so I guess he's got the best of both worlds, lol.

EDIT: And if there was in fact one sign that was dominant above all the rest, wouldn't it have more than 30 degrees in the natal chart wheel to reflect this superiority? The fact that each sign gets equal space just confirms that there is no sign that is superior to all of the others.

Most powerful sign is aries overall, they can be just as regenerative and passionate, but that's just my own opinion. Plus they're natural leaders but more outgoing and not sensitive.
But If you really knew scorpio was the most powerful u wouldn't need so much reassurance from ppl, that means u know deep down that it's not. There's powerful people in every sign, and not every scorpio alive is gonna be this amazing powerful person.... just like not every aries alive has a bad temper, loud, and loves to fight...

I'm a pisces....BUT I say that the most powerful sign is the scorpio...i mean...let's face it...scorpio's are the jack-of-all-trades...they have the emotion...(that most earth signs lack)...they have the strength and passion (just like a fire sign...but most water signs lack..)...they have that magnetic charm... (just like the air signs)...and they're practical and calm and idealistic...(like earth signs)...
