I am genuinely sorry for your dear loss. When we go through the unbearable turmoil such as losing a much loved companion the way we feel could never be expressed with words.
She, my friend is in a better place where she is free from pain and suffering, she'll be there with members of your family that have passed over and watching you remembering all the great times you had how much you cared for her and Loved her.

I hope this is of help, you are in my prayers.

Good energies.

I watch Crossing Over with John Edward once and while and lots of times he will tell the people a certain dog or animal is with the person on the other side and name the animal as confirmation it is the person indeed. I would like to believe that animals have souls just as humans do. You know you did the right thing for your pet and many would suggest you get another one soon to help with the loss.

Yes, there is a pet afterlife. I'm sorry for your momentary loss, but you'll both be together one day. Do not grieve too much, for grief is rather selfish. Instead, rejoice at the peace and pleasure your friend is having and thank the dear Lord for the time you had together. Your friend is worth waiting for! God bless.

I can't answer whether or not there is an afterlife for anyone or anything, but I can tell you loved your pet a great deal, and what you did was the most humane thing you could have done, because you would never want to be so selfish that you let a pet suffer just because you couldn't let go, would you?
Of course not.
I have had only two pets in my life, my dog, I got him at 4 and he died at 18 before I went to college. And he did need to be put to sleep, as he had a huge heart tumor.
My cat was 17. His kidneys were going, and after two years of hydrating him with infusions, they stopped working and he was working too hard to stay alive, so my vet came to my home and put him to sleep in my arms. It had to be done.
People who don't have pets or never had pets really don't understand that it's like losing your best friend. It's healty to grieve. Just rest assured that your pet knew that you loved him.

U don't need a physic to know u are grieving. What u are experiencing is normal. If u had this pet and loved it then no wonder u feel this way. Your pet was lucky to have an owner like u who loved it, cared for it, fed it, took it to the doctor and spent your life with it. U even paid money at the vet for it and there are so many pets running around homeless. Your pet went to heaven also and it out of pain now and happy. When u finish your grieving time then I urge you to go to human society and adopt another lonely pet in search of a loving home. Maybe 2 pets and keep doing that until your not able to do it any longer. That is your mission now.Do that in honor of your beloved pet..That is what your pet wants u 2 do

I have read so much on this subject. There is a "dog afterlife" however due to the bond you shared, your dog will remain with you for a long time yet....as a ghost...until he/she realises you are no longer paying attention and then he/she will pass over and maybe born into your life again or into another one of your lives after you pass.

Most people don't realise that soul mates aren't just lovers but they are best friends and pets aswell.

I experience your feelings right in myself as I too have down .undergone the same situation two years back. Lucy was her name and none in my family could forget her as yet.
According to a great religious book in India, known as Valmiki Ramayan, many head priests of the Hindu temples ,after their death, take next birth as a dog, as a punishment. It is meted to them for infringement in the set down rituals for worshiping God. They pay a price for their wrong karma. Your dog served your family all these years with love and without any selfish intentions and now as a reward for his good karma,it is very likely that it will take birth as a human being. We Hindus, firmly believe that all creatures made by God have the same soul. The physical body of man or animal may die, but nothing can destroy the soul. It will certainly take a new birth. You should not grieve but request the God , you believe, that the departed soul may kindly be given a better birth.
