Virgo here??!
Question: I am a Virgo and I have/had a friend who is a Gemini. We have been/where friends for over 10 years. We never really got along very well though. We have a lot in common, always have fun together, and enjoy each others company. What is the reason for our on again - off again friendship? Do our signs clash or something? She is the only Gemini that I have a close relationship with. Any help is greatly appreciated!

i just ended a drama-filled/tumultous 2 year relationship w/ gemini guy (i'm a virgo). when it was good, it was great. when it was bad...watch out! we had a hard time compromising -- i liked rituals and consistency...he was more a go with the flow/spontaneous person. i liked to save and be frugal with money...he spent like $ grew on trees. he was a big dreamer where I seemed to be more grounded in reality. these differences caused a LOT of turmoil for us and ultimately we couldn't overcome them. we also did the on/off again thing several times. what we had was like fire...we just kept gravitating back to one another. just this last incident, i couldn't get over...good luck to you and your gemini gal pal though...may you two have better luck than me and my ex bf

Virgo / Gemini......Geesh come on.....its called being people.......thats the way most friendships go......signs or months or birth stones...........really make no difference.......people are people , no matter thier sign or the one above your door !!!
you're both mental people so you probably can appreciate the depth of opinion. however, while you are usally more slow and methodical with the formation of your opinion hers could come alot quicker and thus may not be as solid. then too they are very much a quick fire people( in general) so you may have a problem with that too. i know a few gemini and am not close to them. they are very opiniated and fierce to defend it even if there evidence of other truths. so that could be a problem.
Mercury rules both of your signs which helps communication, but Geminis are famous for being changeable (though here I want to add that most signs are too) - it may be that her changeability is off-putting to you, since you are an earth sign and more stable, personalitywise.

Geminis are two faced and tend to be way immature. For us serious Virgos, we can't stand that.
