Not exciting? How can the person above me say that? Well, they say all kinds of stuff about Virgos too, but we are terribly misunderstood. As you can guess, I am a Virgo dating a Capricorn and we are very exciting people. He loves my energy and I love his wry, witty sense of humor that matches my own sarcastic, witty sense of humor. Capricorns are conservative and reserved by nature. Very hardworkers, extremely dedicated in all areas of their lives and a very loyal friend. Exceptional conversationalist and loves a good debate. Extremely family oriented, stylish and loves the finer things in life but will get them at a bargain. Patience is the key when dealing with a Capricorn because they can be pretty complex. They can become melancholy, standoffish and a down right recluse at times, but that's because if something is going on in their lives, rather than bother others with it, they like to figure it out themselves. After one gains their trust, there is no holds bar and the skies the limit. They can be down right stubborn and defensive, but if you know how to deal with this, this won't pose a problem. They will surprise you when you least expect it and in the nicest way.
Capricorns and Virgos are very similiar creatures and you will never get to see the lighter side of them if you don't have patience and like to rush things. Me and my Capricorn travel extensively and have so much fun together. He is affectionate and loves showing public displays of affection. His smile could light up the world. All his friends say they have never seen him the way he is with me, but that's because I bring out certain qualities in him as he does in me.
Capricorns are probably the most complex of all the zodiac signs, but it is well worth the effort.

Anyhow, joking aside, I love being a capricorn. Here's a few things i've noticed about myself that are worth sharing.
1. Maybe it's the goat in us, but capricorns need the time to think things through and let them mentally digest. And when we come to a conclusion, we'll tell you, but not before.
2. We're not emotionally stunted, we just aren't sharing them with you, you probably haven't earned that right yet. We keep those things locked up and only a handful of people who've proven to us that they're not going to hurt us get to see them. Opening up is hard for us, so try harder!
3. Patience, patience, patience. This sort of goes with everything you need to know about how to "handle" a cappy.
4. We love attention, but please dont be constantly draped over us like a scarf, we love our independance as well.
5. We're very practical, we dont like things that have no purpose (ex modern art, double-speak, over inflated egos ... etc) and we'll probably tell you exactly how we feel about it.
And the best way to impress a cappy? Be genuine. We dont care how many expensive purses you own, cars you've driven, times you've walked the red carpet, WMD's you actually found in Iraq...... We want to see that when you smile, its reflected in your eyes as well.
Anyhow, those are my insights, may not be universally true but what is.
