Good point! Well, I believe that Astrology helps us understand other people better. Usually, in romantic relationships this kind of "understanding" is essential for them to work. But, I don't think Astrology is only good for that.
Romantic compatibility is only a part of Astrology. I guess that women use this part more because they prefer to get things done by the book. I think men prefer experience as a way of learning.
Guys will look at those too... I look at it for fun.
yes, you read my mind....i use astrology as a guidance for all types of relationships, mostly love relationships though. i also find it useful for friendships......but i think astrology is best used as a LOVE life guide!!
i dont know about the sun sign compatibility thing though...it is said im not suppose d to be compatible with a Leo, but what the heck, this Leo i know has captivated me like no other sign!! he has amazed me and we get along so well....we really like each other and thats all that matters :D.
Figure that it is women that are more focused on those issues, and don't feel capable of figuring it out for themselves, they feel "overloaded" by the issues.

I've noticed that it's a very popular topic in this section. Intially I was very fascinated by astrological compatibility.
I'm more interested in the personality profile aspect of astrology now. It's cool to learn more about yourself and others and how we complement and balance each other.

As an astrologer and psychic, I can tell you that most females are interested in relationships, and most men are interested in business matters and financial concerns. However, the majority of my clients are female, and a study has shown that women call help services, and males call other types of services ;)

Well, some people are just more interested in that aspect .....
The only reason why that is, is because genetically; women think and men act. If you think too much, you get confused and insecure - so you *need* a bit of reassurance. Sometimes they ask someone for advice, sometimes they turn to the supernatural. Not all of them do. This doesn't mean that the people some women turn to for advice, are only good for giving advice?
Men just go and do whatever they set their mind to do and that's that. No thinking, no confusion. No worries.
I think it's probably mostly teenaged girls asking those questions (this is my impression anyhow).
And yeah, at that age, pretty much the only thing that astrology is good for from the viewpoints of a lot of girls is "hmmm, which boy likes me best, should I go for the pisces or the leo????" That's the typical mentality of a teenaged girl. The ones that really crack me up are the people who'll post "what's the compatibility between a (insert person's own sun sign here) and taurus?" and then a couple of questions later, they'll ask the same question, only it'll be their own sun sign and a scorpio, and then you look up another couple of questions, and it'll be the same question again only with libra as the other sign... So funny. Sometimes feel like telling them to just choose one and find out for themselves.
Well, at least they're learning something about astrology in the process, which will hopefully come in handy in the future when they've grown up a bit and realize that there's more to life than finding the right man to marry, and that their relationships are ultimately going to be unsatisfying anyhow if they don't figure out a bit more about what they need and where they're going in life first.
