Sagitarrians are not normally jealous people... They do like control however. Their main trait is brutal honesty.

Honestly, each sign and each person can get jealous and controlling when they are in love and when they feel their love is being threatened. It's a human being's trait! However, it depends on the level of jealousy and controlling.
I'm a Sag and I don't care if I get thumbs-down, I have to be honest with my answer. We are NOT jealous and controlling. even if we are, we are certainly the least ones.
We are generous, optimistic, super confident and very secure about ourselves.
I personally never control my lover. I give him freedom! I don't get jealous easily. He knows this is me and he knows he can't mess with me. The more freedom and trust I give my partner, the more in love he is with me and he becomes more and more clingy to me cuz he's afraid to lose me and he knows I'm independent, will stand up for myself and will not take any crap from him.
This is sags and this makes us a keeper.

I am a sagittarius and I know from personal experience that there are many variations of the sagittarius heart due to the placements of the planets (the heavens) on your birth.
Generally, Sagi have high expectations for themselves sin all aspects of their lives. We pursue truth over all else, but sometimes can be over temeritous. We have a strong need to learn, which makes us a sort of zodiac renaissance-men searching for life's many meanings. This makes us equally philosophical and analytical. We cannot lie (which is very true for me, because frankly I suck at telling lies) and always give an honest opinion but luckily our friendly nature softens the effect of this and we are easily forgiven. Restrictions of being confined in any way whether it be indoors, in a bad relationship, our human rights being infringed upon, or even with our clothing, are not too pleasnt for us. We are half human and half animal and freedom and independence are words we live by. It is very rare for a person to be blunt and very philosophical, but in rare occasions (such as myself) we are able to find an inner balance. It is all about balance of mind and body for us.
Sagittarians are not too controlling nor are we jealous, unless we feel we are being used or sense that there is something running amuck. This does not necessarily prompt us to jealousy, but allows us to feel things on a much more empathic mood (if the person is connected well with themselves.) HOWEVER, should the person not be too philosophical, not there is a connection or not, but if they are not too open about themselves, then yes jealousy can manifest. There are always two sides to a person, and depending on that such person...you decide.
I know with me and love, I do not feel jealousy at all. It is more of a feeling of under appreciation for me. I liek to feel open abotu everythign with my partner so when something is wrong I generally confront it. And I allow my partner this same amount of openess and freedom, but do not think me ill of loyalty, loyalty is a MUST, as it is in any relationship. I am an honest to goodness bleeding forever romantic, so I am most probably doomed to be the hermit version of my sign...

however in other matters sagittarius are the least to get jealous. they're too into their own business to really get all that jealous of someone else...

Hey all I'm a Sag female. I wouldn't say that I get jealous. I think it's more of a territorial issue for me. If I think something fishy is going on I investigate. But, usually there has to be something really wrong for me to catch wind of it. I' m not controlling at all. I always say live and let live. I usually take things with a grain of salt. I'm very outspoken and that gets me in way trouble sometimes. lol!! but, I have to be myself around people or else if I can't, I can't be in that situation for long at all or I become miserable. I don't like someone trying to control me either. I'm very independant. I have to be able to roam freely. I don't get pissed off very often unless someone is attacking me in some way or another. I am usually a door mat and people usually take advantage. and when that happens I usually put my foot down. but, that's an extreme case that usually doesn't happen very often Thank God! ha! anyway, I could go on and on lol!! But, I have to go to kickboxing now woo hoo!! hope this helps in some way. :-)
