What is a good time to start severing Thankingsgiving dinner?!

Question: Between 2 and 4 is a good time.

Answers: Between 2 and 4 is a good time.

I don't think it really matters.... I have a Big family so there are always at least 2 family members that cook a meal... Everyone goes to my grandpa's first for a Thanksgiving lunch, around noon... Then usually it's off to my mom's for dinner, around 6pm....

around 3pm, early enough for the old folks, gives you lots of time to digest. then dessert at like 6 or 7.

1pm or 2pm so everyone doesnt starve and then time to cleanup and relax..

Hmm - usually, we use the term "carve" rather than "sever". Although technically accurate, "sever" carries connotations of violence that could prove unappetizing.

To answer your question - 5-10 minutes before you eat it.

I say around 5 and 5pm so a good time to start if you're cooking a fair sized meal would be the night before or around 3am for the turkey...you're not going to want to bind yourself from other things worrying about that darn turkey so get it started early early... that and the giblets...

We usually start as soon as it's finished cooking. :)

Some folks do lunch at noonish or dinner at sixish.
