It isn't a matter of belief. In fact, whether someone believes in it or not doesn't make it any less or more true.
(It's like seeing someone you don't like, closing your eyes and telling yourself "he's not there, he's not there" - it works just as well with astrology when you tell yourself "I don't believe in it, I don't believe in it.")
Strangely enough, I don't *always* believe in it. New agers in the past century have single-handedly ruined Astrology's reputation and there's a lot to be built up. I'm trying to help build it's reputation up, but it's harder than it looks - no matter how much solid proof (in terms of psychological solid proof) you offer, people always seem to find an excuse not to believe it. But I don't give up that easily.
I do see the traits of my Astrological signS (plural!!!) in myself. After all, Astrology isn't just the 12 signs of the zodiac. In fact; it's the 8 planets of our solar system, the 3 dwarf planets (and Asteroids and KBO's), the Sun and the Moon. The signs only come second.
And it's those objects *in* the signs that give you your "traits".
In my case, half those objects (all planets) are in Sagittarius, few (including the Sun) are in Scorpio (so I'm a Scorpio), and my chart's rulers are both in Capricorn - and the Moon in Gemini. I have traits of all the above named signs. Depending on the amount of objects in those signs (or the influence of those objects) I have a bigger influence from some signs. In my case; Sagittarius and Capricorn :p
yea and other people too, i proved this to myself by guessing peoples star sign and im correct every single time. no bs
my best guess was i guessed someones mars, that was amazing and awesome for me.
i do believe in them because sometimes when i just log in and read my starsigns it really talks about me and the situation at hand.

I believe Astrology is nature on the biggest scale. I believe one can tune oneself into the spiritual through nature. I think the cycles of the Sun, Moon, and planets, make a perfect spiritual tuning device. I do not believe the sign or houses, work very well in Astrology. I have over 30 year developed my own Astrology System for this use. I push the edge with mind-body exercises everyday, and stay out of trouble, because my tuning devise seems to work. I do not predict the future, since the future is what we make it.
i dont believe in them, but i still read them just to see what it says. i suppose im optomistic x

Is it not better to know rather than blindly "believe"? I take charge of my own life. Astrology can and has been tested. It fails to do better than chance.
