Don't get me wrong, but people often accept what they want to hear as the truth - regardless of whether it really does apply to them.
In order to judge yourself you would have to know yourself (and believe me, that is harder than you'd think). Only then you can judge whether or not astrological descriptions apply to you.
Why? The problem with basic sun-sign astrology is that they often don't use typical and distinctive personality traits. Scorpio and Sagittarius can be seen as both adventurous, but they are adventurous in their own typical way, which usually is the dead ringer for the sign, and not the fact that they are adventurous. Now for sun-sign astrology to match people, the descriptions of sun signs are usually very vague and general. So both Scorpio and Sagittarius are adventurous, both Aquarius and Pisces are dreamers, and so forth. I'm sure you can see where this is going.
Now what you should ask yourself, when you agree with the description; "why does the description agree with my personality?" Possibly in your case, because it is said about Leo that they are very kind and caring; why are you kind and caring (because libra can be the same, as well as cancer, and pisces) - usually the answer would be because you need the attention from other people, and you recieve that attention by doing good for them.
Anyway, I hope you get the drift now... In my case, I'm a Scorpio sun. I only agree with certain points - I'm not a femme fatale nor would I want to be one, I'm not obsessed with death or anything else for that matter; I'm only prone to compulsive behaviour, not obsessive. I do agree with the points where it says that a Scorpio likes to get into other people's minds. Then again, mind is a Gemini thing, and my moon is in Gemini. Usually a Scorpio horoscope will also say that a Scorpio is adventurous and daring. Sagittarius on the other hand is impulsive and fearless. Scorpio is anything but adventurous, it is just bent on discovering secrets. And sometimes you have to dare to get to the secret. Scorpio's slogan is "the goal justifies the means" for a reason...
As I've implied before, Sagittarius applies to me more. I have a Scorpio sun, but 4 planets in Sagittarius, plus my rising. I don't come off as deep or mysterious at all, and I don't like to believe I am...
The same is true for me. Everything I read about Aquarius sun, Cap rising and the whole thing is right to a T....both the positive and negative traits.
As far as I'm concerned, the people who denounce Astrology are the ones who read they Sun sign (only) info and it doesn't make a connection to them. The problem there could simply be that they're reading the wrong sign or don't know exactly what their sign is. How can mine and yours (not to mention a whole world full of other people) be so right on?
I don't need proof that it works, I see the proof in my own life and daily horoscopes. For those who don't get it, I say, that's your right. Just leave me alone, I'm fine.

I'm an Aquarius and everything i read about my horoscope is true, the only thing i don't agree with are the ones that tell you your everyday horoscope cause sometimes it doesnt match my life.

I'm a Sagittarius and almost everything I read about Sagittarius is true for me. I also have Sagittarius listed in my natal chart 3 other times so I think I have a lot of the Sagittarius traits for sure.
Not Everything is true I am extremely self confident Aquarius to the point of being a little arrogant which is typical leo and I am not passive or against violent means
