Question: The love of my life was an Aquarius and I just wonder what my life would have been like if I'd married him. At the time we were "together", he was very afraid of his feelings even though it was obvious he loved me. I just want other opinions.

Since you're evidently a Libra, you'd have made a much better match with Aquarius than me, a Pisces. While I found Mr. Aquarius extremely fair-minded and very gifted linguistically, I also found him rather chilly. I don't believe, after my experience, that Aquarius is capable of the depth of feeling that the Water Signs are.
This Aquarius was ALL about the mind, where I am all about the heart. I found him to be too much of an enigma. It was a poor love match, but we're still friends :)
Well, generally, it isn't that aquarius is afraid of his feelings, but rather, that he is very conservative and out of place when he isn't in a crowd of people. Aquariuses like to be a center of attention and like to be out and about all of the time. Aquarius generally start to be afraid of showing their emotions when they feel they are going to be held down or back from doing the things they enjoy. So don't think he was actually afraid of his feelings, just commitment.

I'm not a male, but I am an Aquarius.. and I have studied the signs and they're characteristics. I think that a constant struggle for Aquarians is that we forget to show sometimes how we're feeling because we live in our heads. But we feel so deeply and because we "know" that we expect others to know it too and because we can become aloof and detached it's hard to sometimes come back down to reality and realize that geeze... I should probably start showing that I care more because I have been lost in the clouds for awhile - that's when it's time to get in touch w/ how we feel.. but w/ aquarius's one of the things i LOVE is when people just ASK how i am feeling!! Because we're always so concerned w/ other people's feelings and happiness it's sometimes nice to just be asked that question and at that time it's when we can kind of remember that we do have feelings...they're just deep and they get left behind sometimes. Open discussions are the best thing to do w/ an Aquarius.. so w/ your relationship it may have been hard to always know how he was feeling and if you were insecure you might constantly be wondering if they were into you but for future reference, just ask =) Aquarians love blunt honesty and we'll tell ya anything and everything! So if you ever meet an Aquarius in the future don't forget to ask questions! We love questions because we too are so curious about everything it shows that you're curious about us and want to know what's going on in our minds - which is usually where the most is going on.. instead of w/ emotions .... they're hidden way too deeply.... but when we do feel we feel deep... sometimes the tears just start rolling! We just forget to feel sometimes.. hope this makes sense..I could just be babbling, but afterall that is what Aquarius's do best - talk and talk and talk and talk....
