Are psychics real? Can a person have a gift and not know it.?!
Question: OK a song came into my head again and again. I finally had to research it. Clair de lune. I got to a stress class for relaxation the teacher plays Clair de lune. Is there a way to test if a person might have a gift.

i dont think there is an actual test, becuase i do believe that people that have this 'gift' see things at speratic times, and not because someone wants to know something RIGHT NOW, yah know? I have kept a journal, i will write down things that seem to be a 'vision' or 'feeling' of something, then go back on them and read. I dont tell people because they think that im crazy, thats why i just write it in my journal, and i have to say that a lot of things that i have written, some are small but some are big have happened.
The main thing that happens to me, is i will all of a sudden think of someone that i have not seen or thought about it a long time, even years sometimes, and then within a day i will see that person! There are a lot of other things, but that is one of the things that makes me wonder. . . .
If they're schizophrenic, they probably THINK they have a gift... So test for that?

No, nobody has special powers, we don't live in the world of X-men or Harry Potter or anything like that. Things might be coincidental, and you might be able to convince yourself that you have special powers, but the fact remains that there has never been any legitimate evidence that somebody has a "special power" or "gift" or "sixth sense" or anything like that. Psychics are a scam to get your money. Even if a person is actually convinced that they have psychic powers, they really don't.
Very possible to have one and not know it. I've had one my entire life and only just realized that's what it was until about 4 years ago. How to test? honestly? I'm not sure there IS a test. Cause there are all those tests online (do a search for psychic test), where you try to guess the next card, and I fail every single time. Cause I'm not clairvoyant, I'm clairsentient (empathic). But most people I know with gifts eventually get lead to finding out that they have them. It'll happen when the time is right for you. You'll just know. Though I know that doesn't help much. lol

That was your way of letting you know you have a gift, by hearing it in your head then hearing it at stress class, i too have a gift that has taken me years to realise that i actually have a gift, mine too it through thought plus i see my spirit guides and my nan(who died a long time ago), i tell people to listen to that first answer that comes to your mind eg; we had a dog and at night we use to chain him in the garage, but if we left the side door open all we could hear alnight was his stupid chain against the garage, i would go to bed and think, damn did i close the side door, and if i didnt get up and check he would go in and out all night, because i didnt listen to that first instinct that came into my head, i too have thought something then bang they text me or drive past me at a place where i would never imagine they would be, its all about learning every one has the gift but some are unaware of it therefore it stays dormant.... :)
