A question about Pisces...?!
Question: I'm trying to keep an open mind and not say anything against horoscopes, athough I would like to point out, I am completely the opposite of the typical Pisces. I am not creative, emotional, affectionate or understanding. I have limited tolerance of people and I do not have an imagination. I do not get lost in my own thoughts and I don't know, I guess I just seem to practical to be a Pisces. I was born on the 9th of March, is there another reason I am completely different from the typical Pisces?

Pisces is the last sign of the Zodiac, and therefore has characteristics of all of them. It's also a mutable sign, so is heavily affected by other influences. Likewise, that's your Sun sign... you also have a Moon sign, a Rising sign, several planets in different signs with unique relations to each other, and houses/sign correlations, etc... to consider. If these factors are grouped in a different sign (say, Capricorn), then those will not only have a strong influence of their own (that modifies your personality), but will also *change* how your mutable Pisces sun sign is expressed (so not only will those signs have a huge influence of their own, but they'll also determine what aspects of Pisces show through).
If you give your year of birth (and time, to be even more accurate) you'll get a better idea of what your horoscope *actually* says about you. Planet position changes often, and these factors can't be determined without at least a year (and houses can't be determined without a time).

The basic rundown is a location would also be necessary to determine it accurately (sorry... forgot to mention that... bah), but it seems you also have fairly strong Capricorn influence (ie: practical, pragmatic, straight-forward, etc...) in the things you relate with/aspire to, and Libra influence (ie: diplomatic, balanced/un-affected by emotion, and flighty) in the ways you respond to/feel about things (and present yourself).

I too am a pisces, I don' t know if perhaps your birthday is very close to another starsign and that might be why you're not very "pisces", also there are moon signs I think..I dont know how to figure it out but your moon sign could be closer to your personality?? Check it out :)

but im absolutely sure you have Earth sign moon or ascendant
its just who you are and im sure there are alot of other pisces ppl out there that are opposite of there zodiac horoscope too.. im a pisces.. March 12. and im just what my horoscope says.. especially the emotional and affectionate part..
pisces is the 12th sign. it has little bit of every trait of all other signs. thats why all fishes are different but the same. havent u ever wondered why there r 2 fish that make up our symbol?
I am a Pisces and am pretty close to what a Pisces is....but I think it all depends on who you are. You are your own person and you can let the horiscopes decide how you should be or you can be yourself...even if yourself is not what the horiscope says or if it is...
If your moon sighn is prominent or ascendant, that characteristics will show. Also pisces will show a mixed results of all the other sighns.
