The thing is they are both fixed signs. I'm speaking from experience here, I'm a Leo (fire sign) with a Scorpio rising who has been seeing a Scorpio (water) with a Leo rising for nearly three years. We get along usually, but when we fight we fight believe that. We too are fixed signs.
Anytime you have opposite elements it can work out, but be prepared for some battles and clashes along the way and a few bumps along the road.
Scorpios- their flaw here is they can be a little too secretive, unwilling to let someone, including loved ones, to help them or to help them realize when something is going on or their emotions/feelings. they need to open up a bit more, especially to a fire sign.
Aries- i have an aries grandfather, and they have some tempers, worse than Leos. they're the kind that will tell you off in an instant then forget anything happened twenty minutes later (and often forget the other person's feelings). they like to ask a LOT of questions and usually think they are always right.
