First, you need to look at the chart as a whole. More planets on the right side of the chart (as you're looking at it on paper), meaning 4,5,6,7,8,9, you are a follower, or other people/ circumstances have more influence/ control over your life. 10, 11, 12, 1, 2, 3, you control things in your life, you lead and have more control over the circumstances events, people, in your life.
Then upper half, or lower half? Planets above the horizon, 7,8,9,10,11,12 are more extroverted, tend to lead rather than follow as opposed to planets below the horizon. Then look at the sun, moon, ascendant, mc and aspects thereto for a better picture of how the person deals with the energies.
