Can anyone interpret my tarot spread?!

Question: My friend and her husband are having marital issues. She has shut herself off from everyone and last I heard she kicked him out. I am worried about her and wanted to see if she was making any progress.

I used the Celtic Cross Spread and listed the positions and then the cards:

Cover- ten of wands
Cross- Ace of Swords
Beneath- Magician(reversed)
Crown- Nine of Pentacles(Reversed)
Behind- Eight of Cups
Before- Five of Swords(reversed)
Self- Justice
House- Eight of Swords
Hopes- Ten of Swords(reversed)
Outcome- The Tower

If you think this is stupid move along, I dont care what you have to say....anyone else, Thanks for your time:)

Hello

Cover- ten of wands ~ being worn down by a situation.
Cross- Ace of Swords ~ truth, direct & harsh
Beneath- Magician(reversed) ~ being lied to
Crown- Nine of Pentacles(Reversed) ~ feeling that have let self down.
Behind- Eight of Cups ~ a time to move on with confusion as to where the future will lead
Before- Five of Swords(reversed) ~ complete failure
Self- Justice - self honesty needed
House- Eight of Swords ~ feeling trapped
Hopes- Ten of Swords(reversed) pain leaving, but still sore
Outcome- The Tower - total self realisation.

I could go into more detail, but from this layout It is time for a complete revaluation on a personal level, a break from expectations is needed so that the truth of the situation can be seen. There is personal doubt clouding the situation & this needs to be got into perspective.

The tower & the ace of swords are where the healing lie - they are hard cards to suffer as they hand us the truth, & this can be very hard to accept. This person is trapped, feeling inadequate, they feel that they have been conned & they can't see the woods for the trees.

With the 10 swords reversed - healing has started, so slowly on the up, although probably not self aware of this at this stage.

I wouldnt ever pay money for it..

Cover- Ten of Wands: Her soul wants to grow beyond current conditions, but she is weighed down by the situation she created for herself and is hesitant to risk a new adventure.

Cross- Ace of Swords: She is blocked by a lack of resolve to make a new beginning. She needs to think independently.

Beneath- Magician (reversed): We all create our reality, but she has been doing it unconsciously, not deliberately. That’s how she got into the current situation.

Crown- Nine of Pentacles (Reversed): She is not self-reliant, but is looking outside of herself for validation/approval/support. This opens the door to unwanted influences.

Behind- Eight of Cups: She has realized she could go on doing the same thing, but it would never be any more fulfilling than it has been. She wants more but has not acted on it.

Before- Five of Swords (reversed): She must deal with a combative relationship by seeing it for what it is and refusing to participate any longer. She must notice what drains her energy and release that from her life.

Self- Justice: She has weighed the options in her heart and knows what she must do. Her inner self wants her to act on this knowing. Get the energy moving. It’s better now to make a decision and go with it than to procrastinate or agonize over doing it in just the right way. Once she acts, the universe will provide guidance and support.

House- Eight of Swords: She feels trapped and doesn’t see any way out. There is a way out, but her mind tells her otherwise. She must trust her feelings to guide her.

Hopes- Ten of Swords (reversed): She simply cannot continue on the way she has been. She is exhausted, out of energy. The same ideas, beliefs, fears and “shoulds” that made her think this was the right situation for her are still making her think she is supposed to stay in a situation that is obviously killing her. The fact that these mistaken ideas have driven her to sacrifice herself is one reason now is the time to trust her heart and her survival instinct over the mental thought processes.

Outcome- The Tower: She created a situation that she thought would bring comfort and security, but it has become smothering and preventing her spiritual growth. Her mind is afraid to let go of it. Her heart is pushing her to leave. Her spirit is revealing the truth of the situation.

Comment: The outer situation is a reflection of her false cultural conditioning. Just leaving the situation will not free her unless she sees that her reasons for being there were faulty. She can no longer create unconsciously from fear, but must trust life and herself to create what makes her happy.
