Do you think lucky stones [Gem stones] really work?Or is it just a human psychol!

Question: It is a very controversial topic.I came across one healer who used semiprecious stones for curing various ailments. He used to call himself a Ratna Vaidya or say healer with gem stones. In sixties, whooping cough in kids could be cured by allopathic doctors in six to seven weeks. He cured one child in my family in four days by hanging a small moonstone on his neck by a thread. If sickness can react to proximity of these semiprecious stones,it goes to confirm that the stones do attract certain powers from cosmos.I,therefore, think that the beliefs are not just human psychology.

personaly I don't belive in lucky stones which are selected by your sighn, I only like to wear them cause they don't look to bad

The important thing is do you think they work. If you think so then they do.

If you think they do, then they will. It's your own power and belief that gives them luck.

I personally believe it, only the stones have to be carefully chosen, eye clean, natural, and not very small. You have to get a good jyotishi to help you. That, of course means a considerable investment ...

They work. Read Ratna Shastra (Gemology). You should know what to wear and how to wear and where to wear.

Yes, I'm a August Leo...I have several pieces of Peridot jewelery....

Peridot is considered a tonic for the whole body and protects the wearer from negativity. It is associated with stress reduction and relaxation. Egyptians used peridot to clean and heal the heart. Powdered peridot has been used to cure asthma and a peridot placed under the tongue of someone in the grip of a fever is said to lessen his or her thirst. One legend says that drinking from a peridot goblet will increase the potency of medicines. Further research indicates that ancient Indo-Iranians, and Vedic and Persian cultures may have used cups carved from Peridot for their ritual drink of Soma.

Is all of that true...Well, I haven't put any jewelery in my mouth...but overall I have a better sense of calmness....

They really work
Trust me.
People may say they don't,
But they probably dont believe,
So ofcourse it wont work for them!

Yes Venky they work and they can work wonders provided the right gems are used for the right purposes and right situations and as per the birth chart of the person
For example- one of my friends who had an ailment of the leg, I dont remember what its called but its something like rickets; she would wear a heavy bracelet having many gems on it twenty four hours a day even while she slept. The moment she would take out the bracelet she would have terible pains in her leg so she never took it out.

I have a jade stone on my neck, as amulet, my mom bought it to give me since I was born , and yes, in East Asia, the tradition believes jade is given to female child to represent prosperity and fortune, people believe anything will be alive if it stays with a person long enough...,and the thing will protect its owner from evil and harm...it's just a cultural thing, nothing different from Christians wear cross on their neck...they believe they are protected. so yes, it's human psychology

My answer is same as Meerkatz and Aradhna. I once wore a saphire, but within a week, the ring was lost ?

Anybody tell me why ?
