if he knows you ,i think he likes you but well nobody can read the future soo idk.well give him time.if he doesnt tell you just chat and when u satisfy wait again.

What was his reaction to your confession? I suppose if he didn't run and hide your on good grounds. I would say let him write you. If he doesn't write in a few days just send a "whats up email". Hope it helps!
I agree with you on just leaving him alone for a while to let him think more about your confessions,how he should reply and everything,but do you think he likes you?
these are signs that show that the boy likes you:
1.he always smiles shyly when he saw you.
2.he always stammers when he saw you.
3.he tries to tease you for no reason.
4.when another girl likes him,he will say to you immediately that he hates that girl.
5.he will be annoyed or quite angry when he heard of rumours about you and another boy becoming a couple.
6.he always glances at you everywhere(in school,when you hang out together etc.)
if he really did all those things(or SOME),that means he likes you.but then the thing is,if he hides from u everytime after your confessions,that means he doesn't like you.and if he stays quiet for too long,you should just confess to him personally,by speaking to him quietly.i don't think writing letters/notes or sending emails to your crush to confess to him is a great idea,although you won't feel so shy.
