Female Scorpio here with a Gemini sister. We are about as different as two people could be. And like the other answerer, we look very different from one another. However, we get along quite well. We can have a serious conversation, but we can also crack each other up.
Growing up there were a lot of battles. However, oddly, my sister was usually hopping mad, and I would end up giggling, which would infuriate her. That's how different our minds work.
Once we approached our teen years, we started appreciating how different we were. When a problem comes up for one of us, its enlightening to hear the others view, as it will often be a solution that myself, as a Scorpio, would overlook, or alternately, a solution that my sister, as a Gemini, would not see the layers of the issue.
She has influenced me positively. Naturally intelligent and protective, she has encouraged me to new endeavors. Also, she definitely has the diversity to see two sides of any issue. As I have learned so much from her, whenever I can impart something iteresting or helpful to her I do.
What you can do for the Geminis in your world is keep the humor and interesting/outrageous stories coming. They love that. When they are down, give them some space. Like Scorpios, when they are fretting, they don't like being fawned over. They like to work it out themselves. But just let them know you are there, if they want to talk.
Edit: Can't really think of anything negative. Some Geminis can have some really erratic mood swings. As a youngster, my sister did. As she got older, they tamed down a lot.
