I generally do not have much belief in astrology in general. I read Linda Goodman's "Sun Signs" on my sign "Cancer" and found much is true. Because I am considered on the Cusp between Cancer and Leo (July 20th) I was not surprised that much of Leo traits I also have. If Bill Nye is right then the Leo traits may be more "me" then the Cancer traits? Or does it go the other way? Would I be more what?

I was just reading about this last night.
According to the new repartitioned zodiac (in light of the earth's current tilt), I'd be a Ophiuchus, the constellation that represents my screen name, Aeschylus.
Or scorpio.
The earth is wobbly, I can agree with that.
This would change our perception of the zodiac, that goes without saying.

Bill Nye rocks. Yup, the whole astrology thing is a little "off" when it comes to science. But I don't base my interest in astrology on science. I base it on experience, and in my experience, it can be amazingly accurate. The Enneagram is another personality system, similar to astrology but not based on stars or numbers (though numbers are used to designate certain personality types), and it is also very accurate. So, regardless of the position of the sun, astrology can still offer interesting insights into human interactions.
Yes, I have heard this before several times and just put it out of my mind. It sounds true enough to me, but this notion just shakes the foundation of everything I have studied for so long that it is hard to reconcile it with previous information on so many different fronts. It sure brings up a lot of questions.

I don't believe this because I have studied astrology kind of extensively and have found the people around me to be true to their sign. I get along best with masculine signs because I am a masculine sign (Sagittarius). Almost everything said about Sagittarius has been true to me.The best relationships I have had are with other masculine signs and the worst have been with feminine signs. My cancer friend was paranoid and crabby and Pisces was paranoid as well and a heavy drinker. The list goes on and on.

Yeah, works for me, because I remember reading somewhere that what we consider the "North Star" now, i.e. Polaris, wasn't considered so during the time of cultures like the Babylonians, ancient Egyptians, etc.
