Your ascendant is the sign on the eastern horizon at the time of your birth.
You need to know the exact time of your birth as well as where you were born, as these affect the sign there.
Go to:
http://www.astro.com/horoscopes/ahor.asp
Go to chart drawing.
Put in info (time has to be exact, ck your birth certificate)
Go to 'free horoscopes' at the top of the page after doing your chart.
Then click on 'personal portrait' under short reports
or
Astro click portrait under the interactive reports.
