Question: last several years very pretty hard and stressful for me, there was a lof of change.my mother passed away and so on and on. I was just wondering what the 2008 will bring. I kind of have a big tension in my family, I will also have to apply to college this year and dont know how things will go. also will a pluto transit have a big effect on things ? someone told me that it will ... it enters capricorn soon.

Do know that a place (at least a state) is needed to acertain exactly where the ascendant is. However, running rough shod with what you have put in here:
You have a plethora of planets in Sag & Capricorn. Pluto currently sets at 29 Sag, which means it has already crossed your Mercury.
Mercury at 27 Sag
Uranus 10 Cap
Neptune 14 Cap
Sun 20 Cap
Saturn 26 Cap
Pluto is very slow moving, and it's effect is more generational (in that it affects entire generations of people).
However, I know that my best friend had some changes in her life when Pluto crossed her ascendant and crossed over her sun.
Now, Pluto moves very slowly, and it goes foward and back again and again. So changes will be slow and happen over a period of time, nothing will be sudden. There will be no 'ah ha' moments until perhaps a couple of years later.
It will not cross over your Mercury again, and you will feel that you are seeing things differently. Indeed, you are already looking ahead to college.
During all of 2008 it will not get past 1 degrees 9 minutes of Capricorn. So you can see, it does move slowly.
The changes that take place will do so over YEARS. For my friend, the transit of pluto over her sun in the first house gave her a new outlook on life.
It doesn't have to be an ominous thing. Look ahead to your future, and by all means, get your paperwork for college turned in early, because there are many grants you may be elgible for, be sure to ask the financial counselor.
Life, dear, is what you make of it. The choices you make today will ultimately determine the choices that are available to you tomarrow. Think of it as a fork in the road. You make the concious choice to take the right fork or the left fork. And that choice ultimately determines the next choice available to you.
Trust your instincts. If you are unsure, you can do one of two things, you can make a list of all the pros and cons of a certain action or you can do a little meditation and leave yourself open to impressions about what path you should take. It will come to you in due time, just be sure you are paying attention when the message comes.
