Well, since I am the proud parent of a basset hound and think he's perfect for me, that would have to be my answer. He, like me, has the patience of a saint, is very friendly and absolutely loves you when he gets to know you. The only way we differ is that as a Virgo I like a meticulous house. With a basset hound and his slobber and shedding, that's impossible. Not to mention toys strewn about.
