If you were to judge Sun signs only, then yes, Leo (Lion) and Sagittarius (half animal/half human), both fire signs would be considered a good match. I'm a Sagittarius and my man of 6 years is a Leo. We are great together. He's the best guy I have ever been with. I couldn't ask for a better man. Both Leo and Sagittarius are fire signs so both these signs get along great to begin with.
I agree with Gipper's first paragraph, but I would change the 2nd paragraph slightly. Capricorn is good with it's polar opposite - Cancer. They kind of need each other to fill in the gaps.
