Are tarot cards evil even if they are angel cards?!

Question: A piece of cardboard evil? I think not. Only people are evil.

Answers: A piece of cardboard evil? I think not. Only people are evil.

No, there is no evil in a set of tarot cards. They are just cards.
They are used to predict the future and tell the past. They're not used for good or evil purposes.

no but a person using them could be!

I don't think they are evil in any which way. Could you DO evil things with them? Probably. Yes. But tarots (the cards themselves and the readings) are helpful at worst.

My cousin does this once in a while, and I have had several upon several readings (at least 10) and only one threw me off a little. Painfully and scarily accurate ALL the time!!!!

Hello beubeu

Tarot are not evil, they are 78 pieces of laminated card designed to stimulate the subconscious mind, linking to the spiritual self.

What ever cards that you have they are the same, any evil would come from the mind of the person using them.

All Like Minded Folk Welcome

NO WAY, EVEN PLAYING CARDS CAN DO THE SAME, PAST, PRESENT & FUTURA
I HAVE BEEN DOING READINGS FOR MANY YEARS, THE CARDS ONLY TELL A STORY, I`TS UP TO YOU IF YOU BELIVE THEM!

i don't think so, i use the tarot cards all the time my husband doesn't like them, but the cards don't tell you any thing that you already don't know they just kind of put things in a different Perspective

Well, form a Christian/Abrahamic religious perspective, not really, but it is a iffy subject. Many born again Christians tend to see them as a form of divination and although this is not expressly forbidden in the bible, many Christians feel that since the tarot cards are not listed in the bible as a tool of god, they are by default evil. On the other hand, in times long past in Christian/Catholic governed countries in Europe, there were many laws against the playing of cards, however, in many cases tarot cards were specifically exempt from these laws.

However, since I am not Christian and in fact am an antitheist, who cares what they think. What matters to me is why you believe in them. There is no evidence that tarot cards hold any power or any special meaning. What there is proof of is that those individuals susceptible to suggestion tend to make their predictions come true...at least to some extent.

A friend of mine was told by a supposedly very accurate card reader that he was going to meet a girl one day soon. She would be incredibly beautify and they would fall in love and be married. Three days later we went to an October fest carnival near our home town. There were many beautiful woman there. He asked one out and she said she was seeing someone. Then he asked a girl that was next to us at bandstand listing to a local rock band and she said she didn't live anywhere close us and so she declined. A little while later we were inline getting food and we started talking to a group of girls in line next to us. Before we knew it, we both had dates and the weekend was a blast. I went out with the girl I met fro about a month and a half. He dated the girl he met for just over a year, but after 6 months he moved in with her. They started talking about marriage. Next think I know he's seeing other girls on the side and his 'beautiful wife to be' threw him out. Last time I talked to him, he still thought the tarot cards were right and that there prediction would have come true if he hadn’t have screwed around on the girl. Now here's the thing. A few weeks before we he had his cards read, he and I were in Philadelphia at a dance club and we both met girls then too. The couple weeks before that he met a good looking girl at a local bar and started a relationship with her...but messed it up by talking to other girls on the side. In fact, a few weeks after he lost 'the one' the cards told him about, he met another girl, dated her for a few moths and almost married her. See a pattern? The guy had absolutely no problems finding woman. He had a problem keeping them. Do you think the card reader was 'magic' or do you think he used what he could see to predict a reasonable future that was just vague enough to fit into a commonly occurring set of circumstances?

Do I think tarot cards are evil? Absolutely not! But I do think they are very stupid.

If people spent as much effort trying to improve themselves as they do trying to catch a glimpse of their future, the would loose all fear of the future and not need someone to tell them what could, would or should happen because they would be out there making the future they want happen.
